R.B.I. Baseball 16 App Reviews

I was surprised that I liked it immediately considering I do not like arcade style baseball games. I like being able to control the players fielding and this game lets you do that, but its flawed and frustrating. For instance, watching the pitcher literally run past the baseball to cover first while is frustrating. Outfield is especially frustrating as they automatically seem to think the centerfielder covers the entire outfield. I loved The menu screens and the navigation, and it was easy to go through 162 game season. They do a good job with the roster updates, as they are frequent. But once you complete a season theres really no reason to play again. I keep the same players, no draft, no trading, no player improvement or declining, no updating roster for the new season, no player creation, no postseason awards, no regular season awards, and your players cant even make the All-Star team as it defaults to 2015s roster. Another ridiculous fact is that the game isnt mifi compatible. The bad part is I think they realize all this and somehow think they are good things and that their targeted customers dont want all of those things I just mentioned because they prefer a simplified, arcade style game. Maybe I get it for a console, but for a phone app in which every game is a one player game arcade style is pointless. As Im writing this I want to change my rating to two stars because Im frustrated, but considering I played a whole season and found it entertaining I will keep it at three stars.

Putting 5 stars so its seen. Its impossible to score. Hitting is impossible. The other team dominates you game after game and its impossible to win. Wast of $5!

I have played like 20 games so far playing a season. I need to learn to play a lil better .but so far five stars.......

Waste of money, dont buy ever

It needs classic ballparks and classic players and classic uniforms. Overall I like the game.

Latest update: Fixed nothing! Still cant see the ball well, cant score much against cpu when playing anything but easy and the makers of the game refuse to fix the choppy lag issues. Im on a 6s Plus, its not due to my device being slow!! Sadly they just dont care! Was looking forward to this updated 2016 game. But this is worse then before. Huge graphic issues with the yellow circles on base, they arent correct at all. Cannot see the baseball at all during batting or when its hit to the outfield. Theres zero indicators. Setting the game to anything over easy just isnt worth playing at this point. The difficultly level has been completely changed and is extremely to difficult with the graphic issues to win at all. Right now this game is not worth purchasing! Hopefully theres some serious updates coming to fix these major issues.

If you put it in easy mode, youre going to win with 10+ runs. If you put it in medium, its going to be hard scoring

Right now game finished and hit continue it freezes. So exit out and restart my phone. Come back to it and I have the option of continuing the game or abandon. I continuing and get the last out again and the same thing happens. I would abandon the game if it wasnt my season in the playoffs

Im sorry for bothering you but, seriously I played 52 games did very well and I made it to the post season with my Dodgers. I clicked on advance to post season and my game froze due to the fact I had a bye into the quarterfinals. Now every time I click on resume my season it freezes again! Please fix I love this game and I cannot stand to redo my whole season. Please fix this! Thank you!

A spend 5 $ on it and then it says request refund

Ive played baseball RBI back to the original Nintendo release and up to recent releases for more advance game system such as The Xbox, PlayStation. There are plenty of negative reviews for this particular version here. I was a bit skeptical to spend the five bucks on this IOS version after reading some reviews. The gameplay has always been challenging but its only to provide that true to life baseball game feel. Ive just won 4-1 against the computer. You do have to focus in the game to actually perform good at it. Needless to mention...Im extremely satisfied with the purchase and this version of the game is still just as fun to play as any other version of RBI.
